Then Uk is a national, not for profit network of support and resources for those families who have already chosen home education or are looking to find further information about the legal right to educate their children at home.
Feel free to have a look around, maybe join us as a member or simply pop into our open group for a chat.
Home Education is on the increase, more and more people are finding out about their legal choice to provide education for their children at school or otherwise.
It is very important when researching this subject that you find out as much information as you can, talk to others, mingle with groups, check the law for the area you live in and ask lots of questions.
All of us at some stage need to find sources of support when home educating.
No matter if its someone at the end of a phone or an E-mail, we at Then Uk have our own yahoo group open to anyone home educating, we have chat nights and also offer anyone already home educating or thinking about it to be able to access this network of support.
Our open yahoo group has a links section with many useful resources covering a multitude of subjects.
Members know they can contribute to these links at any time enabling us all to pool our resources. You can also submit a useful resource on line to appear in our group.

Some parts are open to members only but please do not let that put you off you are most welcome to join us.

Home Education is always being looked at by the relevant authorities, consultation documents pop up that we as home educators need to be aware of.
Staying updated gives us the chance to respond to the consultations as ‘one voice’ and keeps the home education community alive and together.
We at Then Uk have big plans for helping our members and more funds are needed to do this.
